I haven't really played other BRs. Do they always make so many changes between seasons? It seems to me like they are trying to change too much and haven't been able to do any robust quality-control before they push out an update. I don't understand why they don't limit gameplay changes and spend more time fixing known issues and creating storyline content, skins, etc.
I know Fortnite is constantly tinkering with game balance. Both Epic and EA will change gameplay if they start to see worst player engagement metrics, for example. So in part I think the constant changes are to keep long-term players interested and convince new players to start, since it's like a mini-reset. Surely internal metrics tell them to do so. But yeah, I'm sure many players would prefer a less buggy game :)

If anyone wants to see some of the lag and game crash issues, NiceWigg's stream tonight has been full of no-regs, crashes and lag. Fun fun!
