I want to offer a correction and my apologies to any fans who tuned in too early for the EU broadcast of the PGL finals yesterday; apparently the info from my last post (taken from their website) was placeholder text. The actual time of today’s NA $30,000 prize pool finals is below, conveniently sorted depending on your timezone by the team at PGL:
For those of us who struggle to decipher cyberpunk military time, that’s 8:45 PM Eastern Standard Time, great for North America, but a yawn-inducing 1:45 AM in Central European Time.
Look for a longer write-up of the tournament later this week, but in the meantime, if you decide to tune in tonight and haven’t seen any of the action thus far, prepare to be shocked by the extremely high production value of the broadcast—PGL deserves a big round of applause. With a wide variety of stats lovingly presented to the viewer and analyzed live by the casters, as well as a bonkers virtual dropship ‘stage’, the event has a polish and professionalism that raises the bar for competitive Apex coverage. I’ve included a couple of screenshots from yesterday’s EU final to further entice you.
Enjoy the rest of the tourney!
The broadcast was top notch, though their color scheme and font choice was a little rough on the eyes IMO. Would love to see ALGS incorporate more in-depth stats and analysis like this. Also, what a win by Alliance! Can't wait for the NA finals tonight.
